The Schleevogt/Adams Property: A Creative Evolution

The Schleevogt/Adams property has evolved through five years of creative labor. The idea for the artistic structure emerged from an 1860’s farmhouse and collapsing barn with drop-dead views of Lake Michigan.

A Vision Reimagined

Our hosts have used the old barn in extraordinary ways to create a contemporary, colorful living environment.

Landscape Inspired by Nature

The emerging landscape plan incorporates dunes and bunkers (a nod to Whistling Straits, which is within sight of the property). To the east, the rugged bluff is painstakingly being developed in sustainable native plants, in an effort to preserve the shoreline and attract migrating species.

Art in Every Detail

A labor of love, everything you will see is art; museum-quality craftsmanship as it has evolved and is emerging in the hands, heads, and hearts of our hosts. Get to know the hosts/creators and sign their guest book for future connections as the property progresses.

Supporting the Symphony

Musicians themselves, they wanted the symphony to be the first organization to benefit from what will surely be a Sheboygan sanctuary for years to come.
