The Sheboygan Symphony Chorus rehearses on Monday evenings from September through May.

Rehearsals are held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Choir Room at First United Lutheran Church, 2401 Kohler Memorial Drive, Sheboygan. (Use the Worship Entrance at the back of the building, next to the parking lot.)

During performance weeks, rehearsals with the orchestra take place Tuesday – Friday. Locations vary during concert weeks.

Personal preparation is required between weekly rehearsals.

You must be able to commit to all rehearsals as outlined in the rehearsal schedule.

The next audition will be on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at First United Lutheran Church.

Sing a piece of your own choosing, something that features your musical ability and vocal range to your best advantage. We’ll have an accompanist available, so please bring a copy of your music for them. (No accompaniment tracks, please.) During your audition, you will be taken through range and aural memory exercises and be asked to sight-read a short section of a piece. The whole process will take approximately ten minutes.
