Kevin Brochure “Teddy Bears and Tunes, our concert specially prepared for pre-school age to third graders focuses on music related to Valentine’s Day and music that tells stories,” stated Kevin McMahon, SSO Music Director & Conductor. The program is a shorter concert, about thirty minutes of music with five to ten minutes of storytelling and images projected to make the concert experience come alive for the children.
The Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra's midwinter concert promises to be a ‘musical smorgasbord.’ Music Director and Conductor Kevin McMahon explained, “Our February concert is themed “Old World, New World. The Old World music includes works by Stravinsky and Dvorak, while the New World menu includes selections by Gershwin and Thomas Massella.”
The Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra and Chorus will present a program featuring a dozen works of popular holiday music. Most pieces are shorter in length than typical traditional symphonic pieces.
