The Sheboygan Area Youth Symphony (SAYS) will be performing on April 14th at 3:00 pm at the Howards Grove Center for the Arts. The Sheboygan Area Youth Symphony features the Sinfonia and Concert Orchestras. The SAYS Concert Orchestra is directed by Jeremiah Eis and SAYS Sinfonia is led by director Fabian Qamar.

Kevin Brochure “Teddy Bears and Tunes, our concert specially prepared for pre-school age to third graders focuses on music related to Valentine’s Day and music that tells stories,” stated Kevin McMahon, SSO Music Director & Conductor. The program is a shorter concert, about thirty minutes of music with five to ten minutes of storytelling and images projected to make the concert experience come alive for the children.

The Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Kevin McMahon, presents the March Concert - named “Spring” with American Classics. The theme itself refers to Robert Schumann’s First Symphony, known as “Spring” as well as two works by American composers Alan Hovhaness and Lukas Foss. Orchestral musicians suggested two of the five works on the program.
